Enrollment Options for the SMC Choirs

Each participant in an SMC ensemble should enroll for credit as soon as possible and definitely before the end of the second week of the course. Upon completing the maximum number of enrollments (four), the instructor may invite continued participation through SMC Community Education as a "community member." In rare or extraordinary circumstances, a director may make exceptions to this policy.

Within the framework of this policy, below are the processes for enrolling in any of our classes.

Enrolling as a Student

To participate in an ensemble as a student, you will first need to apply and be accepted to Santa Monica College. This may take anywhere from 2 to 7 days to process.
Once accepted to the college, enroll in the class through Corsair Connect, using the information above.
If you are trying to register after the first day of class, you may need an authorization/add code from the instructor. Please email the instructor.

Joining as a "Community Member"

To enroll as a Community Member, please confirm that you have maximized the number of credits you can take and/or you have a rare circumstance you would like the instructor to consider. Please contact the course instructor.
