- Log into Corsair Connect.
- Click on the "Resources and Services" tab on the left side of the homepage.
- Under the "Student Support" drop down menu, click on "Tutoring"
- If you don’t have an account already, you will be prompted to fill in your personal information and REGISTER. Providing your cell phone number at the bottom of the page will allow you to receive text notifications regarding your appointment (recommended).
- Choose either the "CSIS Tutoring - (Semester)" tutoring center from the drop-down menu at the top-center of the page.
- Select your preferences in the “Find an Appointment” box at the bottom of the page. If you prefer to search for an appointment using the calendar display rather than the “Find an Appointment” search, click on the “View Calendar Display” link below the "Find Appointments” button.
- When you find a time and tutor you want, click “Reserve” and complete the pop-up box.
- Be sure to click “Create Appointment” at the bottom of the window. You will receive a confirmation email confirming the location, date, time and tutor. Please arrive on time.

Online Tutoring
For the Fall 2026, you can meet our tutor online. Upon joining the Zoom session, you will be directed to a breakout room, where tutors will be available to assist you. To view the availability of tutors, please see the schedule provided below. Please note that drop-ins without a prior appointment may experience a waiting period.

Our in-person tutoring service is located in Drescher Hall 219. Walk in anytime to get academic support—just ring the bell at the front desk for assistance, and our team will be happy to help. You can also visit our tutoring coordinator at the office for any questions. If you’d like to schedule an appointment, you’re welcome to walk in and request one, or simply stop by to check our tutors' availability. We’re here to support your learning!
Booking Tutoring Appointments
Both in person and online appointments must be made from your SMC Corsair Connect.
For any questions or concerns, please directly email the Tutoring Coordinator via shi_mengyi@smc.edu. You may upload files when setting up the appointment.
